Englewood Schools is dedicated to a relentless focus on learning
for all students and stakeholders. Through collaborative structures
we will intentionally engage our community in a shared commitment to
safety, wellness, accountability, communication, and transparency.

The district’s vision is “High Level Post-Secondary Options for All Sheridan Students"; our mission “To Provide Continuous Improvement of Quality Instruction.” We are committed to realizing our mission and vision by ensuring that all staff members understand and support the district’s core beliefs and our schools’ top academic priorities; strengthening curriculum alignment; increasing student-teacher engagement and first best instruction; developing professional learning communities; continuously providing feedback on instruction to cultivate a culture of high quality; conducting leadership development for our staff; and creating safe and civil learning environments.

LPS has a tradition of academic excellence
LPS is the only Denver metro area school district to be Accredited with Distinction, the highest academic accreditation rating given by the Colorado Department of Education. There are only 14 out of 178 school districts in Colorado that have been Accredited with Distinction!
