he McAdams High School Child Nutrition Dept. has been recognized at the state and southeast regional level with the U.S.. Dept. of Agriculture Best Practices Award in the school lunch and breakfast week category. Rodney Miller, from the Office of Child Nutrition, presented Nutritionist Martha Jones with the award Aug. 2 at the Attala County School Professional Development office. The program encourages and awards schools for outstanding or innovative practices. A panel judges on sustained excellence, innovation, impact, cost effectiveness, and efficiency.
