The mission of Big Horn County School District #1 is to equip all students with the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for success.

Big Horn County School District #2 is located in Lovell, Wyoming. It is nestled beneath the grandeur of the Big Horn Mountains on the East and the Pryor Mountains to the North. Our community has a population of about 2,600 residents and a school enrollment of approximately 700 students. The schools and the activities associated with them are a major part of the social life of the community. District Vision: Our vision is to foster a learning environment that will inspire all students to utilize their given abilities to their highest potential as detailed in the Board Leadership Governance District Mission: Our students will have the knowledge and skills to become ethical, responsible, productive citizens and life-long learners.

Approximately 300 students in K-12 attend the schools in our District. Riverside High School and Laura Irwin Elementary are located in Basin, Wyoming. Cloud Peak Middle School and Manderson Elementary are in Manderson, Wyoming. Our teachers are all certified and highly qualified in the areas they teach and strive to provide a personal, positive education for all students. Each school is NCA accredited and decisions relating to academics are based on data. The curriculum is rigorous and meets the requirements of the Hathaway Success Curriculum.
