Branch ISD operates Branch Area Careers Center,Special Education, Head Start, MichiganSchool Readiness Preschool Programs and Family Support Services to three constituent school districts and one public school academy.
Bronson Community School District covers an area of approximately 149.2 sq. miles. The District includes all of the City of Bronson, Bronson, Noble, and Gilead townships and portions of Bethel, Matteson, Ovid and Batavia Townships in Branch County, as well as a small portion of Burr Oak Township in St. Joseph County.The School District currently operates three elementary schools and a Jr./Sr. High school. The District's student enrollment is approximately 1200.Bronson Jr./Sr. High School has a full academic curriculum. A dual enrollment program with area colleges allows students to take college courses for both high school and college credits. Students also have the opportunity to participate in a vocational education program offered at the Branch Area Careers Center in Coldwater.The population of Bronson is approximately 8000. Bronson is a rural farming community and is known for it production of gladiolus.
