Barnet School Mission Statement: Barnet School Strives to be a supportive community of learners in which every member meets the highest standards. The Barnet School serves approximately 215 students in grades pre-kindergarten through 8th grade in the Barnet, West Barnet, Barnet Center, Peacham, Passumpsic, and McIndoe Falls communities. The school is located on approximately 98 acres of land bordering the Stevens River, in Caledonia Co. VT. Barnet School is part of the Caledonia Central Supervisory Union which includes Danville School, Peacham School and Walden Elementary School. The school sits on 98 pictorial acres that include athletic fields, a playground, and gardens. Our classrooms are inviting, student centered and conducive to learning. Barnet School is a PBiS (Positive Behavioral Intervention and Support) school. Through this work and with the guidance of a talented staff, respect and acceptance are emphasized in all we do within the school. As a result the school feels healthy and safe. It is a spirit of caring and community that make Barnet School a special school that is valued by the entire community.

The Caledonia Central Supervisory Union (CCSU) provides educational leadership and overall administration for its four constituent school districts... Barnet, Danville, Peacham and Walden.
CNSU MISSION: Teachers, Students, Parents and Community are working together to ensure that each school provides an environment that is safe, fun, respectful, and educationally challenging for all. CNSU will support schools by providing comprehensive systems which ensure highly effective learning environments that result in substantial academic achievement for all students. The SU will build a systemic capacity for all schools to improve curriculum and instruction, leadership and decision making, human resource management and professional development.

Hardwick Elementary School is located in Hardwick, VT which is known as the "Gateway to the Northeast Kingdom." HES has about 260 students in grades K-6. HES is a part of the Orleans Southwest Supervisory Union

The geographic location of the Orleans Southwest Supervisory Union (OSSU) is often referred to as the Gateway to the Northeast Kingdom. We are located 20 miles from St. Johnsbury, 30 miles from Montpelier (Vermont’s capital) and 60 miles from Burlington (Vermont’s largest city). OSSU serves approximately 1100 students PK-12 across six towns in four counties: Craftsbury and Greensboro in Orleans County, Hardwick and Stannard in Caledonia County, Wolcott in Lamoille County and Woodbury in Washington County. The total population within our 6 towns is approximately 6,900 residents.We are proud of our students and staff who recognize the value of small schools and the interdependence that is fostered when school boards and communities work together to offer the best education possible for our students while monitoring the performance of our schools on a regular basis. The OSSU central office is the administrative center of the supervisory union where services are coordinated in the areas of Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Student Assessment, Business & Finance, Technology, Human Resources and Student Support Services.
The Peacham Elementary School is a community of learners and teachers dedicated to developing the ability of each individual to think and communicate clearly, to explore the world, to make responsible decisions, and to have concern for the common good.
