CARVER-SCOTT EDUCATIONAL COOP.
Carver-Scott Educational Cooperative (CSEC), District 930, was established in 1976 to complement the educational services offered by the local school districts in Carver and Scott counties and surrounding communities. CSEC realized that not all students would make it in a traditional educational setting, and many would need an alternative approach to succeed. CSEC championed the vision that all people should have an opportunity to learn and be prepared for a future.

WACONIA PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT
The Waconia Public Schools, also known as Independent School District 110, provides outstanding education to students who reside in Waconia, Minnetrista, St. Bonifacius, and New Germany. We are a welcoming school community, located in Carver and Hennepin Counties, about 20 miles west of the Highway 494 loop around Minneapolis. Waconia Community Education is also a part of the Waconia Public Schools, and includes Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE), Kids Company (school aged day care), and Rainbow Preschool, along with hundreds of opportunities for recreation and education for all district residents. Approximately 3400 students are learning in our schools every day, with class sizes lower than many metro area school districts. The size of our relatively small district, schools, and classes allows us to focus on students as individuals and meet their academic, emotional, artistic, health, and athletic needs. Students receive education in two elementary schools (Kindergarten through grade 4), one middle school (grades 5 – 8) and one high school (grades 9 – 12). In addition, the Waconia Enrichment Center houses programs including the Waconia Transition Program, ECFE classes, Rainbow Preschool, and Early Childhood Special Education classes. Our students achieve some of the top test scores in the state of Minnesota, including state mandated tests and ACT/SAT.

Students are grouped to maximize their educational and social development. The primary school serves Pre-K and Kindergarten. The elementary school serves grades 1-5, the middle school serves grades 6-8, and the high school serves grades 9-12. A recently calculated demographic study projects that similar growth rates will occur during the next 10-15 years.
