Northland Community Schools represent the communities of Longville, Outing, Federal Dam, Boy River and Remer. The District serves approximately 390 students in grades K-12. In 2009 Remer Elementary School received the distinction of being named a 2009 National Blue Ribbon School. We offer a large variety of dual credits through College In the School for high school students. By participating in this program students are able to earn both high school credit and college credit. Our staff is committed to to the mission of seeing that every student succeeds and is presented with a well-rounded education that will prepare them for their post secondary plans.
Pillager Public Schools, Independent School District#116, is a Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade public school district which serves students from Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, and Todd Counties. District 116 has four learning centers, all located in the same building – an Early Childhood Center, Elementary School, Middle School-concept program, and High School - with a total enrollment of about 850 students. Pillager is located near the center (longitude and latitude) of the state of Minnesota.
