Colonial Heights City Public Schools provide outstanding educational programs for approximately 2900 students. The system is composed of three elementary schools (K-5), a middle school (6-8), and a high school that includes a technical center (9-12). All of the schools are accredited by the Virginia Board of Education and by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The school division achieved District Accreditation under AdvancED. MISSION STATEMENT: Colonial Heights Public Schools, in partnership with the home and the community, will provide each student with a relevant, quality education. The skills taught shall enable each student to become a self-sufficient, productive member of the global society prepared to enter the job market and/or continue his/her education.
