Friendship Public Charter School operates six public charter schools and, in partnership with Baltimore City and District of Columbia Public Schools, manages four turnaround schools, serving nearly 8000 students from pre-school (three years old) to 12th grade.

The Hospitality High School requires that all students complete a full academic course load, as well as four credits in hospitality courses. Each year all of our students are exposed to the hospitality industry not only through course work, but through hands-on industry exposure. The students complete job shadowing, have guest speakers from across the hospitality industry, complete "soft skills" training and have both paid and unpaid internship opportunities, as well as compete for summer jobs in local hotels.
The school is a DC public charter school and is primarily funded through the Federal and State government, but is supplemented by grants from hotel companies and foundations.
