We believe great things are happening everyday. Our caring staff strives daily to provide a rigorous curriculum that will challenge students and prepare them for a future career. Class sizes are capped at 20 students to make sure teachers are able to maintain a positive relationship with every student. We have expanded our high school course offerings to meet the requirements of the new Oregon Diploma and Oregon University System. A small school is a great place to learn and grow.
The staff and administration of the Douglas Co School District 15 strongly believe in rural education - knowing small schools offer the best learning environment possible. We are committed to making our schools the best of the best. The western boundary is only three miles off of I-5 but extends to the east another fifty miles along the strikingly beautiful South Umpqua River. With only 250 students district-wide K - 12, our students benefit from small classes and teachers who know them well.

The Vision of Elkton Charter School is to recognize the exceptional education that can be achieved through a small rural community while empowering our students to be active participants in a global society. Taking advantage of the school’s location and staff talents, natural resources will be used as an integrated context for learning.
Glendale School District #77 serves approximately 400 children, K-12, from the communities of Glendale and Azalea. The three campuses include the Glendale Elementary School, Glendale Jr/Sr High School, and the School District Office. Though Glendale's population is small, our vision is not. Graduates from our schools can be found all over the world contributing in fields from engineering to veterinary science, from communications to environmental research, the military to vocational trades, and from business owners to Olympic athletes. Past students have returned as teachers, coaches and support staff to invest in the next generation of local children who are preparing to set goals for their lives. Some will live them out here; others will use their days here as a launching pad to distant places. We are honored by either decision!

The Mission of OAKLAND School District: To provide each student a diverse education in a safe, supportive environment that promotes self discipline, motivation and excellence in learning.
This District’s education system, while maintaining flexibility in adapting to an ever-changing society, is dedicated to the personal development of each student to his/her potential through a sequentiallycoordinated curriculum that allows for individual differences, becoming proficient in the knowledge and skills of the student’s current grade level and the opportunity to succeed. As students develop abilities, they are expected to attain efficient and satisfying work habits, grow and develop physically and cognitively, acquire wholesome interests, responsibly direct their lives, develop desirable social attitudes, assume citizenship responsibilities, learn their heritage and their place in a global society and cultivate intellectual interests. The District supports academic growth beyond proficiency in the knowledge and skills of the student’s current grade level and encourages students to attain aspirational goals that are individually challenging. To this end, staff members will strive to aid each student’s intellectual, physical, character, emotional and social growth so that he/she may become a responsible community member and lead a personally rewarding life.
