The mission of the Washington Court House City Schools is to create an environment that develops within our students the skills, attitudes, ethics, and knowledge necessary to become contributing, responsible members of our community. Nearly 200 years ago, the tradition of excellence in education began as the Washington Court House City Schools commenced in a one room log cabin school house in 1814. Today, we are proud to occupy four brand new, beautiful “state of the art” Federalist style buildings, namely Washington High School, Washington Middle School, Belle Aire Intermediate School and Cherry Hill Primary School. Our dedicated team of administrators, faculty and staff continue to provide the young people of this community with an excellent educational foundation that enables them to become productive and successful citizens. This rich tradition has graduated doctors, lawyers, teachers, business executives, military officers and professional athletes – just to name a few. Nothing in the community elicits its pride and respect more than our schools and our students. From academics to the arts to athletics, the tradition of excellence is alive and well in the Washington Court House City Schools.
