It is the mission of our organization to provide quality services and build valued partnerships in our service region and beyond. The Northwest Ohio Educational Service Center plays a vital role in the education of students in the Defiance, Fulton, Henry, and Williams county areas. Now more than ever, our schools need to rise to the challenge of educating all students with skills for the 21st Century to be globally competitive. To accomplish this, we must all work smarter, not harder and use our resources – people, technology, materials, and facilities - in efficient and cost effective manners. We must be creative and open-minded in our thinking. Our staff is committed to excellence.

Pettisville Local Schools, located 30 miles west of Toledo in Fulton County, Ohio is a unique school district in terms of Ohio education today. The district, one of the smaller districts in the state, enjoys an almost unduplicated level of public support. Pettisville is a school of “choice” in that it ranks in the top fifteen districts statewide in percentage of students who “choose” schools. About one in three students come to Pettisville from other Ohio school districts through the provisions of open enrollment. We believe that Pettisville Schools along with the Pettisville community combine to make a unique environment in which to raise a family and educate children.
