MISSION: Teach Every Child; Reach Every Child. VISION: The Isle La Motte Elementary School community will work together to engage all students in a respectful, individualized learning environment that fosters high standards. Our school will encourage independence and nurture an enthusiasm for learning. We are committed to developing strong partnerships with families and will work together to ensure that all Isle La Motte students graduate as prepared, responsible members of their community. The Isle La Motte School is an enthusiastic learning community, where staff, parents, and students collaborate on a daily basis. We work to ensure that each child has an individualized educational program to fit their unique needs and interests. By emphasizing 21st Century learning skills and innovative technology, we are preparing our students for a fast-moving digital and social world. Our school and the surrounding community form an active educational partnership that is beneficial to all residents of the islands. Some of our successes include building a wood-fired bread oven, creating a school garden, presenting student art at a local gallery, and offering student performances of music, dance, and history. Our mission is to reach each child on their own terms and create a positive educational environment for the community as a whole.
Our mission is to provide every student a foundation of academic skills, self-respect and moral character in a safe, caring, enriching, and challenging environment. This setting will make it possible for each student to reach his or her full potential as a responsible, compassionate and contributing member of society.
