Our school is designed to eliminate the achievement gap and provide a public school choice to your family so your child is prepared for success in high school, college, and beyond

Guilford County Schools (GCS) is the third largest district in the state serving more than 73,000 students across 124 schools in urban, suburban and rural areas. Tucked away in central North Carolina, GCS is diverse both in its student body and in its academics. The district serves students who speak 123 languages/dialects and who represent 100 countries. There are more than 10,000 special education students and more than 13,000 advanced learners.The district is a national leader in magnet/school choice programs, offering 50 magnet programs satisfying a varied range of ages, skill levels and interests. In addition, the district provides non-traditional educational settings including a Twilight School, which serves students who are at risk of dropping out, High School Ahead Academy, a school serving over-aged middle school students, and eight early/middle colleges, schools located at area colleges and universities that offer tailored programs and opportunities for students to earn college credit.

Treat people as if they were what they ought to be, you help them become what they are capable of becoming.Located in High Point, NC, Phoenix Academy is the city's only charter school and has been recognized as a North Carolina Honor School of Excellence.The school is publicly-funded and privately managed, with a unique philosophy of educating the whole child. We currently teach kindergarten through 5th grade and are located off Highway 68 in High Point.

Mission -TMSA's mission is to provide improved math, science, and technology learning opportunities for students to develop the capacity to succeed in college and pursue challenging scientific careers, through research based proven teaching methods, performance based accountability measures and dedicated leadership. TMSA's educational program will provide opportunities for all students and close the gap for the disadvantaged students with the proven math and science programs that work for at-risk students, as well as academically gifted students.
