Throughout the Clinton Public School District, we pursue excellence on a day to day basis, as well in long-range planning. We are currently in the process of revising our five-year strategic plan, outlining the main goals to improve on the excellence in our schools.

One of the larger districts in Mississippi, the Hinds County School District encompasses 625 square miles and enrolls over 6,600 students in nine schools throughout the communities of Bolton, Byram, Edwards, Raymond, Terry and Utica. The district is accredited by the Mississippi Department of Education.

Jackson Public Schools is the second largest school district in Mississippi, serving more than 30,000 students, representing more than 80 percent of school-aged children in the state's capital and only urban municipality. Jackson, Mississippi has about 176,000 residents in an area of 104 square miles. There are 8 high schools, 12 middle schools, 39 elementary schools and 2 special schools comprising the district's 61 school sites.
