Arcata School District, located in the city of Arcata in Humboldt County, on the northern coast of California, is a K-8 district comprised of two schools, Arcata Elementary School and Sunny Brae Middle School. Our total enrollment for 2010-2011 is approximately 514 students. We are small enough to maintain close relationships with our students and parents and big enough to offer a wide array of fabulous programs and courses which appeal to our school community's desire for unique academic and extra-curricular offerings.
Bridgeville School has a tradition of caring for the success of the whole child. This is reflected in the design of our programs, in the achievement of our students, and the dedicated professionalism of the staff. Cuddeback School is located in Northern California just off Highway 36 along the Van Duzen River valley, and amongst the towering Humboldt redwoods. We serve students in grades Kindergarten through 8th and provide a wide variety of educational programs and experiences geared toward developing “the whole child”, academically, physically and emotionally.

Freshwater School District is located five miles from Eureka, California. The school setting promotes a love of nature, vigorous outdoor activities, and a natural environment for study.
The school district modernized 10 classrooms in 2003 and has just finished building two new classrooms, a band room and a community gym.
Garfield School is committed to providing the best education for our students by making positive use of our unique characteristics as a small rural school. We, as a staff, are continually striving to improve our skills through the use of workshops sponsored by the Humboldt County Office of Education, education conferences, and continuing education classes in order to provide the best possible education to the students of our school community.
The K-T District Office is located in Hoopa, California and serves five elementary schools, a high school, a continuation high school, and two community schools.
Kneeland School is a small rural school serving grades k-8. We provide an excellent educational opportunity which enables all students to achieve academic success and realize their full potential. Since the schools beginning in 1880 Kneeland School has prepared its students to be responsible, contributing members of our extended community and wise stewards of our environmentally rich setting. We are located approximately 17 miles east of Eureka, California. Our school is nestled upon rolling hills at an elevation of 2,800 feet and is surrounded by grassland and forest.
The mission of Maple Creek Elementary School District is to use available resources to provide an exemplary educational program for the students of Maple Creek School. The Southern Humboldt Unified School District consists of what was formerly nineteen separate school districts. These original nineteen independent districts were combined into one unified district in 1948.
The district is currently comprised of five elementary schools, one high school and Osprey Learning Center, which is an umbrella for alternative programs including Independent Study and Continuation classes. Our current enrollment is 780 students.
Trinidad School offers a high-quality standards-based curriculum, mastery of basic skills, and enrichment for all students with music, visual arts, and physical theater. The Resource Specialist / Title I Teacher offers instruction to special needs students. Trinidad School promotes the philosophy that all students have special talents and abilities. Enrichment projects and activities occur in classrooms and for the community throughout the year. Our staff includes a choral and instrumental music instructor, a Marine Studies Coordinator, a drama instructor, and an Artist-in-Residence.
