BIG PINE UNIFIED
Our schools form the heart of our small town community. We are privileged to provide quality public education in a serene and peaceful setting with small class sizes, and small school size. We are small enough to offer individual attention for all students, and large enough so that students have numerous opportunities for participation. Our student body is involved in sports, student government, scientific research, drama, music and other enriching activities. Teachers truly care about the students and follow with interest the progress of each child throughout their educational experience and beyond. Our graduates enter post-secondary programs prepared to excel and train for productive, successful careers.

Bishop Elementary School serves approximately 800 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. We are nestled at the base of the Eastern Sierra in a spectacular setting. Our school includes a dual language immersion strand (Spanish) K-5. Art and music are respected as imperative to a well-educated and civilized society and we are committed to offering these fine arts at every grade level. Fifth grade students may choose to begin instrumental band instruction.
