Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year. We are very proud of our teachers and students and are grateful for a very talented support staff and very supportive community. During the past three years, achievement and test scores have skyrocketed. Our High School students' PSAE scores have increased from 40% meets/exceeds to 70% meets/exceeds in math and an average of 63% in reading. Our students grades 3-8 are hovering between 80-90% meets/exceeds ISAT scores.
Stockton High School now offers dual credit college offerings in partnership with Highland Community College. This year over 30 students will take advantage of this opportunity. The High School now features a full agriculture curriculum and FFA student organization. Under Director Lance Wheeler, the District features some of the best student and staff technological opportunities in the area. This past year, the band and chorus programs finished 2nd overall in the IHSA Music Sweepstakes, and our annual musical productions at both the Middle School and High School are highly regarded.
In 2008-2009, the District started an innovative Freshmen Transition and Support Program that helps guide 9th graders through the first year of High School with the leadership of student and adult mentors. This program is featured at the State and Regional Educational Conferences.
The District is known for its outstanding approach to working with special needs students and features a universal pre-k that accommodates all of the community's pre-kindergarten student needs. Stockton Middle School is known for its strong academic focus, and Stockton Elementary School incorporates a very effective Response to Intervention program designed to support stronger math and literacy skills. In its third year of existence, the Stockton Education Foundation has raised $60,000 and purchased over $50,000 worth of equipment ranging from ceiling-mounted LCD projectors to digital microscopes to supplement the District's academic programs.
We are proud to be Stockton Blackhawks!

We at Warren School District #205 believe that education is a combined effort of home, school, and community; and that all students have the capability to learn. We want to provide the opportunity to stimulate the students to increase their knowledge, wisdom, and wellness and to enhance their life skills within the educational setting. We will strive to provide a foundation from which our students can become productive, self-reliant citizens.
