AUBURN SCHOOL DISTRICT
Auburn School District provides quality educational programs to all students by professionally trained, highly educated staff. The district and the communities it serves work together to ensure the continuation of these high standards of service. The district encompasses a 62-mile area bridging King and Pierce counties, and serves approximately 70,500 residents in Auburn, Algona, Pacific, Lake Tapps and unincorporated areas of King County. Auburn School District is committed to providing its 14,600 students with a relevant education. By extending the school day for primary students, the district provides opportunities for increased learning. Middle-school students benefit from a student-centered learning approach, and the district provides comprehensive course offerings of advanced placement, honors, career and technical education, and basic skills classes for high school students. Consistently providing effective educational programs is the trademark of the district. As Auburn’s student population becomes more diverse and the standards of student achievement become more rigorous, the district will continue to deliver an individualized, relevant education for all students. The district’s 849 certificated staff members receive student-focused training to enrich their instructional skills. Auburn School District is committed to low class sizes and has had great success in recruiting the most competent teachers to its classrooms. The 778 classified staff members provide tremendous support for the instructional program as well as student transportation, school safety, child nutrition and maintenance.

KENT SCHOOL DISTRICT
The Kent School District has a deep and rich history. What started as a school district in a largely agricultural community is now the fourth-largest district in Washington State with nearly 28,000 students. One of the nation’s largest industrial centers is in our service area, and KSD is the second-largest employer in the community, after Boeing, with more than 3,000 people on the payroll. Kent School District is also the most diverse district in the state according to the 2010 census. LAKE WASHINGTON INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWIT) was founded in 1949 and offers affordable professional and technical training for today's job market. Training is available in 44 programs, with more than 100 professional/technical degree and certificate options in: Information Technology, Business & Service, Health & Fitness, Manufacturing & Transportation Technologies, Arts, Language & Science. LWIT is one of 34 community and technical two-year institutions of higher education in Washington state. MERCER ISLAND SCHOOL DISTRICT
The Mercer Island School District, with a K-12 student population of approximately 4,200, enjoys a wide-spread reputation for quality and excellence, combining academics, cultural expression, and athletic achievement. This tradition of excellence is a major reason many families make Mercer Island their home. Achievement test scores at the elementary, middle, and high school levels are consistently the highest in the state. The district maintains a graduation rate of over 95 percent. With its proximity to Seattle and Bellevue, the Island has easy access to several public and private colleges and universities including the University of Washington, Seattle University, Bellevue College, and Lake Washington Technical College. The district employs a teaching and support staff of 495 and has an annual operating budget of approximately $48.5 million. In the 2010-11 school year, the Mercer Island Schools Foundation in partnership with the schools’ PTA’s contributed over $1.7 million dollars to maintain teaching positions and instructional support in light of statewide reductions in funding. Quality educators and support personnel are complemented by quality school facilities. The district has one 9-12 high school and an alternative high school program, one 6-8 middle school, and three K-5 elementary schools.

PUGET SOUND EDUCATIONAL SERVICE DISTRICT 121
Puget Sound Educational Service District (ESD) #121 is one of nine regional educational agencies serving school districts and state-approved private schools in Washington state. ESDs function primarily as support agencies and deliver educational services that can be more efficiently or economically performed regionally. Puget Sound ESD develops and delivers a wide selection of services that provide instructional and administrative support to PreK-12 schools and direct service to students and families.

RIVERVIEW SCHOOL DISTRICT
Riverview School District, located thirty miles east of Seattle in the beautiful lower Snoqualmie Valley, encompasses the communities of Carnation, Duvall, and surrounding areas of eastern King County. The area's quiet charm and friendly ways, combined with easy access to the urban amenities of Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, Woodinville and Issaquah, make it one of the most desirable places to live in the Puget Sound Metropolitan Region. The District covers approximately 250 square miles and serves more than 3,200 students. The Riverview community has high academic expectations for the school district and has supported its maintenance and operations levy and technology levy every four years, as well as $56.6 million in capital bonds in 2007 to renovate all five schools and add a new alternative learning center. The District was also able to purchase a building in Duvall to house its headquarters, and moved over the summer into the Educational Service Center for all services and operations, including professional development. Riverview offers education in an integrated setting. Special programs designed to meet the needs of students include special education, remedial reading, gifted and honors, early childhood, English Language Learners, music and fine arts, career and technical education, outdoor educator, athletics, activities, and clubs. Our alterative programs work with students in various settings, including K-5 multi-age, homeschool support, individual student learning plans, and STEM/Humanities curriculum. Community and employees are very involved in the goal setting and strategic planning for the district. Riverview Educational Foundation (REF) generates financial and community support to enrich the educational opportunities through its Grants and Award Programs for district staff. All schools maintain active PTA's and provide many opportunities for community volunteers to share in the learning process with students.
