Imboden is a rural community of about 700 people located in Northeast Arkansas, and the Imboden Area Charter School, Inc. (IACS) is an open enrollment charter school that was organized as a nonprofit corporation by community volunteers in an effort to offer a high quality educational program. The long term vision is to develop and operate a system that can be duplicated with confidence in other rural communities as either conversion or open enrollment charter schools

To accomplish this mission, the Lawrence County School District will ensure a positive educational environment that enhances learning, fosters growth, and provides opportunities for all students and faculty to exceed and excel beyond the educational setting.
