The Brookhaven School District strives year after year to complete a child’s education with the highest of standards. An education that begins with excellent facilities throughout its five-school system. Many renovations at all of the schools have taken place over the years, including a $13 million renovation and expansion project at Brookhaven High School in 2001. The high school, originally built in 1938, is recognized by the Mississippi Department of Archives as true to its Art Deco design and now has what is considered to be the most advanced sound and lighting system of any high school in Mississippi.
Lincoln County School District serves all communities of Lincoln County; each one is distinct and unique. Our local schools are responsive to this uniqueness and recognize that "one size does not fit all," by supporting our students and communities in a variety of ways.
LCSD's vision is "Quality Learning for All." We adhere to the guiding philosophy of continuous improvement to achieve our mission of developing passionate learners and responsible citizens.
