The district is a leader in the use of technology to enhance instruction and to ensure efficiencies in daily operations. All classrooms are equipped with Internet access and interactive white boards. The district continually evaluates and implements innovative strategies to enhance district-wide programming. The district currently runs the Carlisle Area School District Virtual Academy for students in grades 6-12 which offers several virtual course options. A new feature, the Academy Online, provides a full-time online solution for students who desire cyber-school programming. If a student successfully completes the required credits, they will receive a Carlisle High School diploma. Additional information about this program is available by contacting the guidance department in each building.

The England School District believes in and is committed to developing a program, with help from the home and community, which provides opportunities for every student to achieve his or her highest potential in the 21st century. We will provide positive learning experiences in a safe environment. The experiences will help students acquire a variety of technological, basic and advanced skills and enhance their self-esteem and physical and emotional health.
