We, the students, teachers, and community members served by Salem Elementary Schools, are excited about the future. We believe that the powerful communication technologies and the vast resources of information being developed will rapidly change our future needs. It is our task to provide our children and adults with the knowledge and skills to access and utilize these powerful communication technologies. We envision a community of adults and students who are able to use the vast resources of information available to become more productive citizens.

The mission of the Selmaville School is to help all the students acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in their high school careers and the attitudes necessary to be life-long, enthusiastic learners who are able to manage change, to perpetuate and improve the democratic process, and to have a positive impact on their communities, their country and the world.
