Community participation in the affairs of the schools is important if the District and the community are to maintain mutual confidence and respect and work together to improve the quality of education for students. All citizens are encouraged to express ideas, concerns and judgments about the schools to the school administration, the staff, to any appointed advisory bodies and to the Board.
The focus of Marion Local Schools will always be the students who comprise our communities. The District will provide a well-rounded, innovative curriculum in a safe and nurturing environment. For each student, our mission is to develop a sense of self-worth that allows the individual to reach his or her highest potential intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically. Students will approach life's challenges with confidence in their ability to succeed and with an appreciation for the importance of on-going learning.
The Mercer County Educational Service Center will be a leader in high quality cooperative services that positively impact the diverse educational needs of students, staff, and community.
