Fruitport Community Schools is a district located in both Muskegon and Ottawa counties. We are located near Hoffmaster State Park and the beautiful Lake Michigan Shoreline. The Village of Fruitport neighbors Muskegon, Spring Lake and Grand Haven. It is about 30 minutes from both Grand Rapids and Holland. A qualified and dedicated staff and faculty serve approximately 3,050 students with progressive educational programs and services. Known for our outstanding academic and co-curricular programs, we provide an environment that celebrates individuality, promotes problem solving through critical thinking and encourages students to fulfill their potential.We have one high school building, one middle school building and three elementary schools; Beach Elementary, Edgewood Elementary and Shettler Elementary. We also have an Alternative High School, Adult Education program and an Early Childhood Center. We are members of the Eastern Services Unit .
