  The Calistoga Joint Unified School District serves approximately 850 students from Calistoga and the surrounding area. The Calistoga public schools provide a rigorous, standards-based instructional program that also embraces and encourages higher level thinking, problem solving, student engagement and creativity. Small class sizes, ample resources and individualized attention insure that our students are provided with a broad-based educational experience and that each feels a connection to school and to our community.

  The Mission of Howell Mountain School is to provide an integrated system of education for students in kindergarten through eighth grade that embraces and accomplishes the following: • Educating, enriching and motivating students to achieve their fullest potential and become lifelong learners. • Providing and further developing a positive, safe and enriching environment. • Providing and supporting students in academic challenges that foster and nurture problem solving and self esteem. • Effectively utilizing the talents, services and support of our staff, parents and community. • Preparing students to be citizens of good character who will move successfully into subsequent academic programs with the necessary knowledge, attitudes and skills for leading healthy, productive and rewarding lives.

  The mission of the Napa County Office of Education, as a flexible, countywide educational resource, is to support and collaborate with districts, access and coordinate existing services, and develop additional services in response to changing community needs.

• NAPA COUNTY ROP

  
  

  Napa County Office of Education Regional Occupational Program (NCOE ROP) provides career technical education in multiple industry sectors to high school students. Students have the opportunity to take courses that prepare them for college and careers through hands-on instruction by bringing theory and practice together. This makes learning relevant and engaging. Many students use the skills developed in ROP to obtain employment while furthering their education or pursuing their career goals.
