Commerce Public Schools are located in northern Ottawa County in Northeastern Oklahoma. Commerce Public Schools serves the cities of Commerce, North Miami, and the northern part of Miami. CPS has a dedicated staff of 67 teachers, library media specialists, and counselors; 5 administrators; and 52 extremely dedicated support staff of secretaries, instructional and media aids, food service staff, custodial staff and transportation staff. We are very proud of this staff and the opportunities which they provide to CPS students.

Northeast Technology Center (NTC) is the # 1 place for career training in Northeast Oklahoma. With four campuses in Afton, Claremore, Kansas, and Pryor, we have locations all around our district. Northeast Technology Center (formerly “Northeast Area Vocational-Technical School District Number Eleven”) was formed by a majority vote of the people of Mayes, Craig, Rogers and Ottawa counties on February 4, 1969. The first school board was comprised of Dave Huchison, Carl Mustain, Samuel Victor, Ralph Boatright, and Jack Kissee. Earl Kelly was hired to become the first superintendent of the district, and offices were established at 122 South Scraper in Vinita. Today, NTC serves students across eight counties with its four campuses in Afton, Claremore, Kansas, and Pryor. Each year, NTC trains over 1,200+ students in its full time daytime programs. Through NTC’s Business & Industry Services, along with short term night and weekend classes, almost 20,000 additional students train through NTC.
The goal of Quapaw Public Schools is summarized in the stated aims given below: To offer a comprehensive educational program for all levels which will provide for individual student needs, interests, and abilities of all students attending Quapaw Public Schools; To offer a quality of instructional expertise which will assure efficient learning by all students attending the Quapaw Public Schools; To offer a program of guidance and directions that will enable each student of the district to take the fullest advantage of the educational programs and see EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY; "Promote then as an object of primary importance, institutions for the general diffusion of knowledge. In proportion as the structure of government gives force to public opinion, it is essential that public opinion be enlightened."
We believe that the Turkey Ford School District should provide quality educational experiences for all students of system. These experiences should prepare students for productive and fulfilling lives by providing for intellectual, social, and personal development. We recognize that is not the exclusive responsibility of the public school, but is more successful when parents and community work together with the school in a joint effort. Our ultimate goal is to develop responsible citizens capable of reaching their potential in a changing society. We're prepared to meet the educational needs of all elementary children.
