Paulding Exempted Village School district covers 177 square miles in northwestern Ohio, Paulding County. The district includes the communities of Paulding and Oakwood and several small surrounding areas as well. The school district is largely a rural area. Paulding Exempted Schools includes approximately 1650 students in grades PK-12. Buildings include Paulding High School (grades 9-12), Paulding Middle School (grades 6-8), Paulding Elementary School (grades PK-5), and Oakwood Elementary School (PK-6). The district also operates a transportation center and an administration building. Paulding Exempted Village Schools employ 114 certified teaching/administrator staff and over 72 support staff (bus drivers, engineers, custodians, food service workers, secretaries, etc.).
