CLEAR FORK VALLEY LOCAL

We care for our students by modeling our community's heritage and tradition of excellence to increase student achievement. The Clear Fork Valley School District is classified as a local school district operating under the supervision of the Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center. The District is governed by a locally elected Board of Education. The District involves the efforts of many people and functions best when all personnel are informed of the major activities and concerns.
CONSTELLATION SCHOOLS: MANSFIELD COMMUNITY ELEMENTARY

Mansfield Community Elementary has been in operation since August of 2002. We currently serve approximately 120 students in grades Kindergarten through Third. We pride ourselves in ensuring our students, staff, and parents become a community of learners where children excel, become responsible students, and are exposed to the highest of standards. Our staff is made up of dedicated professionals who are committed to education, and the success of all children. Mansfield Community Elementary is proud of our academic achievement. All chosen curriculum is aligned with the Ohio Academic Content Standards and is designed to guide students towards their grade level goals. Content areas include Reading/Language Arts, Spelling/Phonics, Math, Science/Health, and Social Studies. Teachers set high standards for achievement and behavior in their classrooms and expect that with age appropriate teaching methods, all students will achieve to their potential. Title I services (small grouping with a reading/math teacher) and Special Education services are implemented to assist students with individual needs to reach their grade level goals. Furthermore, instruction is enhanced through the use of Technology in the computer lab, integrating classroom projects with such programs as word processing, slideshows, presentations,and Internet research. Special area instruction includes Art, Music, and Physical Education. In addition, parent activity, community involvement, and Character Education enhances our educational plan as well, which secures a safe and nurturing learning environment for our students.

FOUNDATION ACADEMY

Foundation Academy is a tuition-free public charter school serving students in grades Kindergarten through High School. We offer an integrated program which includes; art, reading, state-of-the-art technology and the Paragon curriculum.
GOAL DIGITAL ACADEMY

GOAL Digital Academy is a public online charter school serving students throughout the state of Ohio in grades 3-12 with a curriculum written to Ohio Standards. GOAL opened its doors in Edison, Ohio in 2002-2003. Since then, GOAL has expanded to five locations: Mansfield, Mount Gilead, Galion, Delaware, and Marion. In addition to standard curriculum, GOAL offers credit flexibility, drop-out prevention, and credit recovery programs to its high school students. GOAL provides educational opportunities for students up to 21 years of age, and up to 23 years of age for students with an Individual Education Plan. An adaptive curriculum in an actual onsite classroom is available for qualifying high school students. GOAL also has mutual services with many high schools, career centers, and JOG programs in Ohio.

LUCAS LOCAL

Lucas Local is a public school district located approximately seven miles east of Mansfield in Richland County. Enrollment in K-12 is approximately 580 students. The district has one elementary (k - 5), one middle school (6-7), and one high school (8-12) located on approximately 58 acres in Lucas, Ohio. According to the Ohio Local Report Card, Lucas is rated as an EFFECTIVE school district for the 2011 - 12 school year. This is the Eleventh consecutive year of an EFFECTIVE rating. The Mission of the Lucas Local School District is to prepare well-rounded, lifelong learners who are able to meet life's challenges.

MID-OHIO ESC

Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center currently provides specialized academic and support services to 16 school districts in Crawford, Morrow and Richland Counties. We provide access to professionals and services that would be unaffordable to many school districts, but are made accessible because our professionals and services are shared among districts. Our customers receive services from curriculum, gifted and special education consultants, speech pathologists, psychologists, special education teachers, occupational therapists and physical therapists. In instances where schools need alternative education options, we are an invaluable resource. Our programs include substance abuse treatment, home school assistance, behavioral disorder treatment, preschool, and expulsion/suspension alternatives. We specialize in meeting the needs of today’s educational system by providing our clients with guidance and resources on areas such as teacher certification, licensure, home schooling, parent-mentoring, and testing, assessment of pre-children with special needs. Mid-Ohio ESC is located in the Mid-Ohio Conference Center and has access to the resources of the conference center for large training venues.

The Shelby City School District is an Ohio public K-12 school district situated in Shelby, Ohio. The district serves a diverse population in a rural and suburban setting. The district provides a comprehensive and inclusive education to approximately 2,000 students.
