Wheelersburg is a dynamic, positive-minded, progressive community. Our schools serve approximately fifteen hundred and fifty students. The Wheelersburg Local Schools have a tradition of academic excellence. The community encourages and supports a quality curriculum that prepares our students to achieve to the best of their ability. The faculty has high expectations and through their innovative instruction and dedication our students excel. Although Wheelersburg Local Schools consistently rank as one of the best schools in Scioto County and southeastern Ohio when comparing test data, our academic success is much more. We are also proud of our students’ athletic and activity accomplishments. Our participation rate in athletics and activities is very high not only because everyone is encouraged to participate but also because of the outstanding parental and community support our students receive. The orange and black decorations throughout the school and community reflect our “Pirate Pride”.
