Mill A is a rural one-school district nestled in the Cascade Mountains of southwest Washington State, right in the heart of the majestic Columbia Gorge. Our facility is a single building, with 2 classrooms, a cafeteria, library and gym that are well maintained for use by both students and community. Mill A School currently serves 25 students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Kindergarten is all day. Both our reading and math curriculum are new and rigorous. Science is taught using FOSS kits, which offer hands-on exploration of numerous subjects, such as sound, anatomy, electricity, and magnetism. Teachers provide art instruction in the classroom. High School students attend Stevenson High School in the Stevenson-Carson School District or Columbia High School in the White Salmon Valley School District. Transportation to and from Stevenson High School is provided by Mill A. Transportation to and from Columbia High School is provided by White Salmon Valley School District

Skamania Elementary School is a kindergarten through eighth grade school, and is the only school in the Skamania School District. We are located along the Columbia River in Skamania County, in the southwest corner of Washington State. The mission of Skamania Elementary is to provide opportunities which prepare students in becoming responsible decision makers, lifelong learners, and caring, contributing members of society.
The Stevenson-Carson School District is a K-12 district located in the Columbia River Gorge. A National Scenic Area, the Columbia River Gorge offers breathtaking views of tree covered mountains and streams dropping to the massive Columbia River below. While located in a rural area, serving the towns of Stevenson, North Bonneville, Carson, Stabler and Home Valley, the Portland/Vancouver metropolitan area is just 40 miles west of the District.
