Welcome to the Mansfield Public Schools!
The public schools of Mansfield consist of three elementary schools for students in grades pre-kindergarten through fourth grade and a middle school for grades five through eight. The central office for the Mansfield Public Schools is located in the Audrey P. Beck Municipal Building at 4 South Eagleville Road, Storrs-Mansfield, CT 06268.

During difficult financial times, our goal is to preserve the quality programming and maintain facilities that exist in Region No. 8.
Take steps to improve the performance of all students, i.e. improve graduation rate, gender performance, alternative education, and reading skills.
Expand elective opportunities to include increased enrollment in Honors and AP courses.
Continue curriculum revision to include 21st Century Skills and alternative methods of instruction, assessment, and reporting.
Improve student preparation for the transition to RHAM High School and to continued education or careers.

E.O Smith High School offers students a wide breadth of education to prepare them for the future. We host active academic departments, an agricultural training program, and a number of student clubs and extra-curricular activities. Our world-class Library Media Center and computer labs reinforce and enhance our education programs. We have a sports program - our mascot is the Panther - and an active alumni community. We encourage our students to develop the motivation and capacity for lifelong learning.
