Over the past few years, Coweta Schools has experienced substantial growth. Currently, we serve over 3,300 students at eight different sites. The school district is part of a growing and vibrant community that recognizes the value of education and works in partnership with us to promote excellence. Whether our students are a part of our nationally recognized band program, one of our many Pre-AP or AP courses, or a club or an organization, they are all on a path to success. Our teachers are supported by a committed school board, quality administrators, involved parents, and a caring community that combine to provide a first-class education that prepares all children for a successful future. The school district offers a variety of learning opportunities to meet the diverse needs of our students. We have a comprehensive high school (grades 10-12) along with an intermediate high school (9th grade), a junior high school (grades 7 & 8), two intermediate grade centers (grades 4 through 6), and three lower elementary schools (grades Pre K through 3rd grade). Additionally, Coweta Public Schools offers an Alternative Education Academy as well as a Gifted and Talented program. Character Education is a primary focus at each of Coweta's schools.

Porter Consolidated School District is committed to providing an exciting and rewarding educational experience. Administrators and staff are here to help you and your child reach established goals. We encourage parents and students alike to get involved with our school system. We have many organizations, athletics opportunities, and academic pursuits in which to participate. We want our students to leave our school as well-rounded citizens. Our staff sets high standards for all of our students. We realize that it takes not only the child's desire to succeed, but a strong support from the home.
