The Colonial Beach Public School System was established as an independent school division in 1907. It serves the residents of Colonial Beach, which is a small town of about 3,000 people located directly on the Potomac River. Our student enrollment PreK-12 for the 2012-2013 school year is 640 with 286 students in the Elementary School, 161 students in the Middle School and 193 students in the High School. Our small size provides a strong sense of community. Colonial Beach Schools are fully accredited by the Virginia State Board of Education. We received accreditation in the spring of 2005 by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. We are committed to excellence in every area of student endeavor.
Mission Statement: All, meaning ALL, students will achieve academic standards, demonstrate standards of the heart, and make choices that result in a safe and healthy life.
