About School District: The School Town of Speedway is located on the west side of Indianapolis in the town of Speedway. We are an urban school district on the fringe of a large city located in Marion County. The school corporation consists of four elementary schools (grades K-6), one junior high school (grades 7-8), and one high school (grades 9-12). This year's enrollment is approximately 1500 students. IT IS THE MISSION OF SPEEDWAY SCHOOLS TO INSPIRE AND PREPARE STUDENTS TO EMBRACE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF TODAY AND THE POSSIBILITIES OF TOMORROW.
