About School District: Mat-Su Public Schools are organized to put students and families first. Our facilities include 20 elementary schools, five middle schools, six high schools, and four K-12 schools, including a comprehensive home school. Additionally, the district hosts six charter schools, and three alternative education schools which offer a range of specialized programs. The MSBSD has educational opportunities available for adults through the career and technical education programs and preschool for students with special needs.
