About School District: Independent School District 15 is nestled in the woods and fields of northern Anoka County and southern Isanti County. This oasis of fresh air, water and livable space focuses on a quality of life that the residents feel is second to none, yet it is a mere 40 minutes from downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul. The school district is supported by a population of more than 26,000 that covers over 165 square miles and annually educates nearly 6,000 students and employs nearly 1,000 people.
