About School District: Mission Statement-The mission of the Atlantic County Special Services School District is to provide innovative educational programs and related services for students with special needs ages 3 to 21 who meet eligibility requirements. This will be accomplished by offering specialized, individualized instruction aligned with the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards to meet academic, vocational, functional, physical and emotional student needs. Essential programs will be developed in collaboration with educational and human services agencies by planning, coordinating, assisting and/or implementing countywide programs as appropriate.
