About School District: MISSION STATEMENT-The mission of Passaic Valley Regional High School is to prepare students to take their places as responsible citizens in a democracy by helping them to think clearly, communicate effectively, prepare for a career, and appreciate our cultural heritage within a setting which recognizes the dignity and worth of the individual.The unique nature of education at the high school level is colored by the annual excitement of newly arriving ninth grade students coupled with maturing sophomores and juniors, as well as seniors who are anxiously preparing their future plans. We wish our recent June 2011 graduates the best of luck as they open a new chapter in their lives to pursue higher education, the military or the work world. Those graduates are being replaced by the largest incoming-class in many years consisting of nearly 400 students. Our staff members are reenergized and filled with a renewed vigor for the start of a new and exciting year.
