About School District: Over 3,000 students are enrolled in the Norwalk City School District. The school district has three elementary schools containing kindergarten through grade four. Main Street School, which opened in the fall of 2004, houses about 450 students in grades five and six. Norwalk Middle School houses grades seven and eight, while Norwalk High School contains over 800 students in grades nine through twelve. The area career center, EHOVE, provides programs for approximately 75 Norwalk junior and senior students each year. The mission of the Norwalk City Schools is to provide and maintain the highest level of education for all students to prepare them for success in life.
