NEW LIMA - Oklahoma School District

About School District: New Lima Public School is accredited with NO DEFICIENCIES, putting the district in the top 372 schools in the state considered to be in compliance with the rules of the SDE. For athletic purposes New Lima, currently in class A, is ranked 363 with an ADM of 84.17 (top 4 grades only). There are 117 schools with less students in the top 4 grades. New Lima School consistently performs in the top percentage of schools in the state in academics. Academics to be considered are things such as state testing, interscholastic meets, quiz bowl contests, and ACT scores. Research will prove that New Lima is NOT near the bottom of any of those lists. We are very proud of our students and would welcome anyone who would like to visit our campus to view these accomplishments. We believe that the size of New Lima School is one of the best in student teacher ratio. We have 26 certified teachers with approximately 300 students; therefore most classes have less than 15 students per teacher. We also believe that students learn better with this type of student teacher ratio.
