About School District: The Perkins-Tryon School District is a growing school district priding itself in excellent academic and extra-curricular programs. While large enough to provide a broad range of programs and courses, we are small enough to get to know students and parents providing a personal touch to our student’s education. Our district consists of two communities, Perkins and Tryon, and is located in parts of three counties (Payne, Lincoln and Logan). The district encompasses 197 square miles and operates twelve (12) regular route buses. Our total district enrollment is presently 1,480 students, attending one high school (9-12), one junior high (6-8), one intermediate school (3-5), and one elementary school (PK-2). Our school district always stands ready to provide the best possible education for our students as we prepare them for the 21st century.
