About School District: The Nestucca Valley School District #101 (NVSD) is located in the southern portion of Tillamook County and includes the communities of Beaver, Hebo, Cloverdale, Pacific City/Woods, Sandlake and Neskowin. Except for Pacific City/Woods and the Sandlake area, these communities are all found on or near US Highway 101. NVSD The was born from a consolidation of the K-8 districts in the area and the union high school district and officially became the Nestucca Valley School District about 20 years ago. The student population reached a high of 724 students in 1996. In October of 2010, there were 545 students enrolled and those students were served by 75 employees including 33 licensed staff. Currently, NVSD operates two buildings: Nestucca Valley Elementary which is K-6 and Nestucca Junior Senior High School which is 7-12. Students attend school four days a week and the district provides a full day kindergarten program.
