About School District: The educational program for middle school is rooted in the Core Knowledge sequence which focuses on teaching a common core of concepts, vocabulary, skills, and knowledge that characterize "culturally literate" and educated individuals. The purpose of this approach is to increase students' receptive and productive vocabulary, increase comprehension, and help build a general knowledge base, thus increasing academic performance.
