Our mission is to provide students with a well-rounded, Core Knowledge-based education which meets the intellectual, creative, and social needs of each child.
Our vision is to prepare our students for future educational opportunities and life in a global society by creating an academically rigorous, literature-rich environment where class sizes are small, and a strong sense of community is built and valued.

The Belle Plaine Public Schools; a caring learning community of over 1400 students, faculty, staff, and administrators; are located on the Southwest edge of the Twin Cities metro area.
The district has several distinct geographic advantages -- being located just 35 miles south of Minneapolis on US Highway 169, being nestled within the picturesque Minnesota River Valley, and being surrounded by large swaths of beautiful farmland.
These geographic advantages have translated into tremendous growth. Our schools have been growing by approximately 4% per year for much of the last decade.
Our greatest asset is our dedicated, professional staff. Our faculty realize that students learn differently and do their best to meet each student's individual needs.
Whether you are new to our community or are a life-long Belle Plaine resident, we encourage you to find out more about our school district. Feel free to contact us at (952) 873-2400 with any questions.

Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools provides a high-quality education to students in grades K-12 and programs and services to residents from birth through adulthood who live in the cities of Prior Lake and Savage, as well as the townships of Spring Lake, Cedar Lake, Credit River and Sand Creek. The community is located in the seven county metropolitan area of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Approximately 7,000 students are enrolled in the district's twelve schools.
The uniqueness of the community lies in the mixture of suburban and rural living. The City of Prior Lake prides itself on abundant lake and recreation areas while the City of Savage is proud of its heritage and community spirit.
Partnerships with local government, businesses, civic and parent organizations continues to enhance the overall learning experiences of students in the district. ISD 719 also prides itself in the many environmental learning opportunities that have become part of the district's unique culture.
The district also has a Strategic Plan written by administrators and community members to help focus its goals for the future.
