Dawn F. Barnes Elementary School is located about 5 miles North of Limestone. Our school consists of multi-level classrooms with an enrollment of 40 students Pre K-8. The low enrollment allows us to provide a lot of one-on-one instruction to all who need it. Our staff is dedicated to helping all who step through our door.

Vision Staement- To promote a quality educational environment that ensures all staudents opportunities to aquire the skills, knowledge, and attitudes they will need to become successful citizens and lifelong learners.MSAD #33 educates 166 students from grades Pre-K to 6 at Dr. Levesque Elementary School and 138 students in grades 7-12 at Wisdom Middle/High School. The District serves the communities of Frenchville and St. Agatha located in the beautiful and picturesque St. John Valley which is in the northern part of Aroostook County in the northernmost section of Maine.Dr. Levesque Elementary School was named after Dr. Romeo J. Levesque, a family doctor in Frenchville who dedicated his life to caring for the sick in the St. John Valley . The school is now the only elementary school in the District. Dewey School in Frenchville was closed in 1965 and all Frenchville students at Dewey were moved to Bailey School in Upper Frenchville. Bailey School was renamed Dr. Levesque School in 1973. Elementary students residing in St. Agatha have been attending Dr. Levesque Elementary School since the closure of Montfort School in St. Agatha in June 1979. Wisdom Middle/High School opened in the fall of 1965. The school name was given in honor and gratitude to the Daughters of Wisdom who opened the first public schools and were the first teachers to be hired by the town of St. Agatha in 1905. The Sisters taught in the St. Agatha schools until 1973 when the last nun left.

The communities of Caribou, Limestone and Stockholm have joined to form The Eastern Aroostook Regional School Unit #39 (RSU 39). RSU 39 is proud to offer a top quality education program that strives to meet the individual needs of all students. Serving over 1,700 students, a staff of 250 professionals and support staff work together to achieve our goals. All staff work to ensure high academic achievement for every child and the desire to work diligently in providing the knowledge and skills necessary for students to lead successful lives.RSU 39 includes: Hilltop School (Grades Pre K-2), Teague Park School (Grades 3-5), Caribou Middle School (Grades 6-8), and Caribou High School (Grades 9-12) and Limestone Community School (Grades Pre K – 12). Caribou Regional Technology Center serves as a trades skills training center for 250 high school students in Caribou as well as Presque Isle, Washburn, Fort Fairfield and Limestone. Approximately 2,000 area residents participate in Adult Education, which provides post secondary educational opportunities as well as high school and general vocational programming and serves the literacy, vocational and business training needs of the community.The RSU 39 Board of Education strongly supports athletics and other co-curricular activities. These programs are seen as integral and important components of a student's educational experience. In addition, the Caribou Performing Arts Center provides students and adults an opportunity to explore and enjoy the performing arts in a wonderful state-of-the-art theatre setting.

The district serves the towns of Mars Hill and Blaine, with tuitioned students from Bridgewater and E Plantation.We’re loyal, forever, to Central Aroostook High.With the banner of blue and white, waving in the sky for Panthers.We’re singing, we’re cheering, victory is our cry.So, go Panthers, go, fight, win, for Central Aroostook High.Rah! MSAD #45 is comprised of the towns of Perham, Wade & Washburn. We are a rural school unit of approximately 400 students.The District includes the David J. Lyon Washburn District Elementary School and the Washburn District High School.This district has always been strong academically and we are committed to retaining that distinction. This year we are offering an after school program to elementary students designed to enable all of our students to be proficient in Mathematics and Reading. This will extend the school day until 4:45 p.m. with extra classes in mathematics and reading that will also provide activites for the mind and body.Both schools have strong academic, highly qualified teachers who are dedicated to making every student successful. In addition, many of our students can and do attend nearby vocational high schools in Caribou and Presque Isle and the Carleton Project (an alternative school). In addition, some of our students have the opportunity of taking post-secondary courses at the University of Maine in Presque Isle, Northern Maine Community College, and online from the University of Maine in Orono.Everyone deserves a quality education in order to have a great life.-Superintendent of Schools

MSAD #20 is a single town school administrative district serving 600 students in grades Pre-K to 12, with 102 full and part time employees. The School system enjoys strong community support and offers a wide variety of programs and activities. Over 90% of graduates go on to post secondary education.
