ATLANTIC COUNTY VOCATIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT
MISSION-The mission of the Atlantic County Institute of Technology (ACIT) is to prepare and motivate students to pursue entry into the world of work, professional programs or further education through a rigorous specialized curriculum, community-based partnerships, and field-based experiences inspiring students to be life long learners, and socially responsible adults serving society with compassion, skill, and vision.For over three decades, the Atlantic County Institute of Technology has been preparing students with the academic and technical skills needed to successfully enter the world of work or continue their education at the college level. The Atlantic County Institute of Technology is the most comprehensive technical education facility in Atlantic County, and it is the school of choice for a diverse student body. The majority of the students who attend ACIT are high school students enrolled in our academy and shared-time programs. Students have 4 Academy and 17 career programs from which to choose. The shared-time students receive their academic instruction at one of the eight public high schools in the county, and their career technical instruction at ACIT. In addition, approximately 1000 adults are enrolled in the ACIT Evening School. ATLANTIC COUNTY SPECIAL SERVICES SCHOOL DISTRICT
Mission Statement-The mission of the Atlantic County Special Services School District is to provide innovative educational programs and related services for students with special needs ages 3 to 21 who meet eligibility requirements. This will be accomplished by offering specialized, individualized instruction aligned with the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards to meet academic, vocational, functional, physical and emotional student needs. Essential programs will be developed in collaboration with educational and human services agencies by planning, coordinating, assisting and/or implementing countywide programs as appropriate.

BUENA REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT
The Buena Regional School District is proud to provide educational and supportive services to students from preschool through grades twelve. The district is comprised of four elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. Students from Weymouth and Estell Manor join students from Buena Vista Township, Buena Borough, and Newfield at the high school. The board of education, the administration, and the staff support the state's initiatives in the Core Curriculum Content Standards. The district continues to operate a half-day preschool program for four-year olds and a full day kindergarten program.

GALLOWAY COMMUNITY CHARTER SCHOOL

The founders of our school accepted this challenge and created the Galloway Community Charter School.The GCCS mission supports a child-centered environment that promotes independent and cooperative learning based on inquiry and exploration. GCCS is designed to:Provide individual learning plans for all students.Balance alternative and traditional means of assessment.Promote differentiated learning .The GCCS curriculum allows students in kindergarten to grade four to explore themes in the areas of Arts and Humanities, Environmental Sciences, International Studies and Technology. GREATER EGG HARBOR REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT
The Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School District operates three comprehensive high schools housing students in grades 9-12. Oakcrest High School, in Mays Landing, is located on a 110 acre wooded tract. Absegami High School, in Galloway Township, is located on a 114 acre tract. Our newest school, Cedar Creek High School, opened in September 2010. Cedar Creek High School offers Magnet programs in Engineering and Environmental Science. All three schools are located 12-20 miles from Atlantic City. A forty-minute drive to Rowan University and a sixty-minute drive to Philadelphia permits staff members to pursue major programs of graduate study. The two-year Atlantic Community College is adjacent to Oakcrest High School and the four-year Richard Stockton College of New Jersey is close to Absegami and Cedar Creek High Schools. The Atlantic County Vocational Technical School is located within the District and serves students from all high schools.

MARGATE CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT
Margate City District pupils are housed in two separate facilities: the Eugene A. Tighe Middle School constructed in 1956, and the William H. Ross III Elementary School constructed in 2000. As a result of a 24 million dollar addition and renovation project and new school construction in 1999, all schools have been upgraded to enhance the educational environment. The elementary school houses the district administrative offices and grades K-4. The middle school, which houses grades 5-8, is departmentalized with an emphasis on thematic teaching. Each building is serviced by special area teachers for music, physical education, visual arts, technology, and a media center. In addition, a Child Study Team is available for children with special needs. The team consists of a school psychologist, social worker, learning disabled teacher/consultant and speech therapists.
