  With over 200 dedicated, experienced, and highly qualified administrators and teachers, the Ambridge Area School District takes pride in meeting the needs of all learners from the advanced to the challenged through a rich, seamless curriculum emphasizing high academic standards and expectations. Advanced placement, GATE, enrichment, regular, technology, vocational, JROTC, and learning and emotional support classes are among district offerings. Additional specialized learning opportunities are available through the OJT (on-the-job training) program as well as the partnership with the Beaver County Area Vocational Technical School. The district is renowned for its Fine Arts program which encompasses a wide array of choral, drawing, and instrumental courses in virtually all grade levels. With seventy percent of its graduates continuing their studies on the college/university level, Ambridge Area alumni are represented among the military academies, our nation’s finest colleges and universities, the armed forces, and the professions.

• BEAVER COUNTY CTC

  
  

  The Beaver County Career & Technology Center is a full-time career and technology center that serves the youth of Beaver County in Pennsylvania. The Beaver County CTC officially opened its doors in the fall of 1978 under the name of the Beaver County Area Vocational Technical School. The school is located in Center Township (Pennsylvania) adjacent to the Community College of Beaver County. The Beaver County CTC is dedicated to providing programs consisting of high quality, cutting-edge technical training integrated with a strong academic education and an emphasis on critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and team-building skills. The curriculum is closely tied to the needs of business and industry. Through twice-yearly Craft Committee meetings, advisors guide program development to assure that the curriculum and equipment match the needs and standards of employers. Employers tell us what skills are needed for success in their fields and those are the skills we teach. Instructors align course curriculums with the skills employers need for employees to be successful. The mission of the Beaver County Career & Technology Center is to prepare graduates to be well-trained technicians, ready for the workplace of today and tomorrow, aware of the world around them and prepared for the changing technology.

  The Beaver Valley Intermediate Unit (BVIU) is comprised of the fourteen local school districts and one (1) vocational technical school in Beaver County. One of the Commonwealth's 29 Intermediate Units created by Act 102 in 1970, the BVIU is an educational service agency which provides needed and requested services to its member school districts. The mission of the Beaver Valley Intermediate Unit is to provide quality and progressive educational services to support the schools and the community of Beaver County.

  Our district is located in the northwestern part of Beaver County, Pennsylvania. It encompasses the communities of Chippewa Township, Darlington Borough, Darlington Township, Enon Valley Borough, (Lawrence County), Patterson Heights, Patterson Township, South Beaver Township and West Mayfield Borough. Over 17,000 people live in the 65 square miles of the district. Blackhawk School District is dedicated to providing a rigorous learning environment in order to be highly successful in the Global Community.

  Founded in 2006, Lincoln Park is a tuition-free public charter school. It offers world-class training for Pennsylvania students in music, theater, dance, creative writing, media arts, and health science and the arts, along with a flexible and challenging academic program. All of these opportunities are provided in a working performing arts center, equipped with numerous amenities. In addition, through innovative partnerships with such institutions as the Berklee College of Music, Kent State University, and the Community College of Beaver County, Lincoln Park students can receive college-level arts and academic instruction at no cost while still in high school. Lincoln Park is dedicated to providing student-centered service in a professional and compassionate manner. The school utilizes a highly-trained and committed staff, which includes a number of professional artists. Students at Lincoln Park benefit from individualized educational strategies, tailored to each student's needs, interests and abilities, and designed to empower every student to succeed.

  Our district is located in the middle of Beaver County, Pennsylvania. It encompasses the communities of New Brighton Boro, Daugherty Township, Pulaski Township, and Fallston. Over 12,500 people live in the 40 square miles of the district. The New Brighton Area School District has a long and rich tradition of academic excellence and producing well rounded individuals that are prepared for life's challenges.

  The Riverside Beaver County School District, located in northeastern Beaver County, Pennsylvania, is comprised of the townships of Franklin, Marion and North Sewickley. Portions of Butler and Lawrence Counties form the northern and eastern boundaries of the school district, and the Beaver River forms the western border. It covers an area of approximately 49.23 square miles and has a population of nearly 11,000 residents. The student population is 1801, which classifies it as a AA school in Pennsylvania. Our Mission: The Riverside Beaver County School District, working in partnership with families and the community, will provide students with the knowledge, skills and integrity to reach their maximum potential, to become contributing members of society, and to become life-long learners.?
