ANTIETAM SD
The Antietam School District is located in Berks County, southeast and adjacent to the City of Reading. The district encompasses approximately 5.3 square miles and is comprised of two municipalities: Mt. Penn Borough and Lower Alsace Township. As a predominantly residential community with little commercial and industrial businesses, the district currently serves approximately 1100 students in a community of 7500 residents. One of the determining factors of the success of the Antietam School District is the involvement and support of the surrounding community. The cooperation put forth by parents, friends, community leaders, and local business partners is what enhances the learning experience of every student in the district.

BERKS COUNTY IU 14
The Berks County Intermediate Unit (BCIU) provides programs and services to public school districts, nonpublic schools, and other human service organizations of Berks County, Pennsylvania. The BCIU also is a liaison agent between the schools and the Pennsylvania Department of Education. The Berks County Intermediate Unit offers a wide range of diverse services, including alternative and special education, early intervention, child care, services to at-risk students and students with disabilities, as well as curriculum, instruction, and professional staff development. The BCIU also provides business and information management services, instructional media services, public relations services, pupil transportation, and many other varied services.

BERKS CTC
The Berks Career and Technology Center (BCTC) was founded in 1968 and is regarded as one of the premier career and technical education facilities in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, largely due to the outstanding performance and success of its students. BCTC operates two campuses, each situated on more than 23 picturesque acres in Berks County. Our mission is to prepare all students for work and higher education through a highly acclaimed, integrated academic and technical experience.

BOYERTOWN AREA SD
The Boyertown Area School District is situated on the northwestern edge of the greater Philadelphia suburban sprawl in southeastern Pennsylvania. Students in the district are educated in ten modern buildings. Seven K-6 elementary schools funnel students into one of two 7-9 junior high schools. There is one senior high school serving grades 10, 11 and 12. Geographic size makes school bus transportation a fact of life for better than 90% of the student body at all levels. Every school in the district has health room coverage, school counseling services and handles the majority of special education students in-house. The support services of 4 school psychologists are available to all levels.

DANIEL BOONE AREA SD
The Daniel Boone Area School District is located about 45 miles northwest of Philadelphia along the southern border of Berks County, within 15 minutes of Reading to the north, and Pottstown to the southeast. The district serves a population of approximately 18,500 people and covers an area of 42 square miles. The district is predominately rural/suburban with concentrations of population in Amity Township, Borough of Birdsboro, and Union Township. Within the proximity of many cultural, historical, educational and recreational facilities, the location affords the residents much in the way of cultural and social opportunities. One high school, one middle school, and four elementary buildings service a student population of approximately 3,900 students. The administration building houses the district office as well as the business office with other district wide departments located through out the district. Athletic and other extracurricular opportunities exist at all district buildings through district sponsored activities or community organizations. Individuals wishing to volunteer with the district will find an active community in the efforts of the Parent Teacher Council, Booster Programs and the Daniel Boone Community Foundation.

EXETER TOWNSHIP SD
The Exeter Twp. School District is located in Berks County, 4 miles southeast of Reading. It sits within the boundaries of two political entities, Exeter Township and the Borough of St. Lawrence. Exeter is a suburban community with a population of approximately 23,701. The average income of our community members is $67,000, which is about $13,000 above the county average. 82% of our population are high school graduates, while another 32% have post high school degrees. HAMBURG AREA SD
The Hamburg Area School District, located in northern Berks County, is rich in the fine traditions of its Pennsylvania German heritage. The region is a scenic blend of rolling hills, fertile farmlands, and small communities. The district covers 103 square miles and is the largest, geographically, of the county's 18 public school districts. The district encompasses the Boroughs of Hamburg, Strausstown and Shoemakersville, and the Townships of Perry, Windsor, Tilden, Upper Bern and Upper Tulpehocken. The district's four buildings include the high school for students in grades 9-12, the middle school, which opened its doors at the start of the 1996-1997 school term to students in grades 6-8, and two buildings for our elementary students: Tilden Elementary Center, which opened its doors for students in grades K-5 on August 25, 2008, and Perry Elementary for students in grades K-5. The district employs 186 full-time and 2 part-time professional staff; 15 administrative staff, and 85 full-time and 30 part-time support staff.

KUTZTOWN AREA SD
The Kutztown Area School District is a combination of three municipalities and three townships. Germans who arrived in the area during the eighteenth century settled all the boroughs of Kutztown, Lyons, and Lenhartsville; as well as the townships of Maxatawny, Greenwich and Albany. The German people came from the southern regions of Germany in the 1700's for many reasons including agriculture, the crafts and intellectual endeavors. The mission of the Kutztown Area School District is to provide an interactive educational environment that encourages students to acquire the skills, obtain the knowledge, and develop the attitudes necessary to become valued contributing members of society.

READING MUHLENBERG CTC
The Reading Muhlenberg Career & Technology Center provides high school students living in the Muhlenberg and Reading School districts with the opportunity to learn up-to-date technical skills that are in demand in business and industry. Students may choose to attend one of thirty (30) programs in a modern facility engaged in hands-on learning activities using state-of-the-art tools and equipment. Our students spend one half of their school day at RMCTC preparing for a rewarding career by learning the technical and academic skills which will lead to rewarding careers or entry into post-secondary education. Our programs are gaining industry certifications and continually strive to provide work-based learning opportunities to meet the ever changing demands of business and industry. We continue to establish articulation and dual enrollment agreements with post-secondary schools that will facilitate entry into post-secondary schools and provide students with the ability to earn college credits. Our students truly have "the best of both worlds." By remaining a part of their respective high school while attending Reading Muhlenberg Career & Technology Center, opportunities available to students are multiplied! RMCTC students are eligible to participate in the extra-curricular opportunities provided by their high school and are also encouraged to participate in Career & Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs). Our CTSOs provide experiences and opportunities for students to develop leadership skills and to meet and compete with our career and technical students from across the country.

SCHUYLKILL VALLEY SD
The Schuylkill Valley School District is located in northern Berks County, six miles north of Reading, in southeastern Pennsylvania. The district encompasses approximately 53 square miles of rural and suburban communities, including Bern, Centre, and Ontelaunee townships and the boroughs of Leesport and Centerport. Three buildings serve the district's nearly 2,000 students: Schuylkill Valley Elementary Center (grades K-4), Schuylkill Valley Middle School (grades 5-8), and Schuylkill Valley High School (grades 9-12). It is the mission of the Schuylkill Valley School District to provide a safe, nurturing environment in which each student is challenged to think, question, and create.
