ALTOONA AREA SD
The Altoona Area School District has established a reputation for innovation and excellence. With a student population of nearly 8,000, Altoona Area is one of Pennsylvania's largest school districts. It encompasses 60 square miles and includes the city of Altoona, Logan Township and a small portion of Tyrone Township. The primary mission of the Altoona Area School District is to deliver the written curriculum in a thorough and efficient manner to every school-age student, and measure said delivery to its purported effect. The secondary missions are to instruct students on standards of behavior which should include, but not be limited to: manners, responsibility, reliability, dependability, self-discipline, self-esteem and perseverance; and to become partners with our community in economic revitalization and development.

IU8's mission is to be a leader in educational partnerships with its customers—the school districts and their students—by offering a broad range of quality educational, technological and support services through continuous innovation. IU8 has continued to identify the needs of our customers and provide cost-effective quality services to meet those needs by focusing on six pillars, which support the foundation of the organization: customers, fiscal responsibility, innovation, empowerment, leadership and systems. More specifically, its goals are to: develop interactive communication among its districts and the surrounding community; respond to its customers’ needs by offering a broad range of educational, technological and learning support services; promote continuous staff development for its internal and external stakeholders by informing educational providers of the latest educational methods, materials and technology; and periodically assess its efforts to determine the quality of its services and the changing and expanding needs of its customers, in order to provide the highest quality and most comprehensive educational opportunities and effective learning environments for the students within IU8.

CENTRAL PA DIGITAL LEARNING FOUNDATION CS
The Central Pennsylvania Digital Learning Foundation (CPDLF) engages its students in a highly motivational, student-centered, educational program that relies on basic educational principles while utilizing the latest information and communications technology to promote student achievement while fostering higher-order-thinking and problem-solving skills. The Central Pennsylvania Digital Learning Foundation interacts with students via technology but also uses technology to teach students to conduct in-depth research, to collaborate with other students and faculty, and to seek guidance from experts around the world. CPDLF assures students have the opportunity to master essential content and skills and provides them the opportunity to build a strong foundation to compete in the workforce of today and tomorrow. Our school also utilizes its technology to provide additional learning activities to students of local schools who do not have access to certain educational opportunities. The goal of the Central Pennsylvania Digital Learning Foundation is to utilize its technological resources to provide educational learning opportunities across the Commonwealth. CPDLF values the talents and needs of its individual students. Administrators and staff work closely with parents and students to deliver programs that meet the student’s skills and talents while still providing a strong foundation in the fundamentals of reading, writing and arithmetic based in the Pennsylvania Standards. Parents are active partners in the development of each student’s instructional plan.

GREATER ALTOONA CTC
The mission of the Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center is to provide high school students and adult learners a superior career and technical education consistent with accepted academic and skill standards. The GACTC strives to integrate academic and technical skill instruction for high school students and adult learners as required to achieve industry skill standards. The culture of the school fosters intrinsic motivation and rewards student initiative and teamwork. A premium is placed upon excellence in student achievement in both academic and skill-specific areas of study. Students convey a sense of ownership that reflects the dignity of work well done, thereby increasing a student's opportunity for a fulfilling life through a successful career. The school envisions a learning environment that is progressive, well maintained, and incorporates innovative technology. Teachers inspire student learning and engage in professional development to enhance teaching skills. SPRING COVE SD
The Spring Cove School District is located in the southern portion of Blair County, approximately fifteen miles south of the city of Altoona, in the area known as Morrisons Cove. Encompassing approximately 98.6 square miles, the total population was last counted at 13,442. Student enrollment is approximately 1,800, and the district employs about 230 people.

TYRONE AREA SD
The Tyrone Area School District encompasses 176 square miles and includes the Borough of Tyrone and townships in the northern tip of Blair County, crossing into Centre County (Taylor Township) and Huntingdon County (Warriors Mark and Franklin Townships). Approximately 12,600 people reside within the district’s boundaries. Nestled in the hills of central Pennsylvania, the Tyrone Area School District proudly serves approximately 1900 students in one elementary school (PreK - grade 4), a middle school (grades 5 - 8), and a high school (grades 9 - 12). Mission Statement: We establish high standards of learning and expect all students to achieve. Our goal is to facilitate collaboration among staff, parents, and community to create an environment that supports, engages, and challenges students to achieve high levels of success.

WILLIAMSBURG COMMUNITY SD
The Williamsburg Community School District encompasses all the area of Williamsburg Borough, Catherine Township, and Woodbury Township (64 sq. miles). The district is bounded by five (5) neighboring school districts- Tyrone, Spring Cove, and Hollidaysburg School Districts in Blair County and Juniata Valley and Huntingdon School Districts in Huntingdon County. The geographical size of the district makes bus transportation a necessity. The district contracts transportation services with Raystown Transit. The district has two schools (elementary and junior-senior high school) that serve a student population of approximately 500 students.
